Description
Teams will pull a 17,000 lb semi with 53 ft. trailer as fast as they can 125 feet. Prizes and bragging rights will be awarded for Fastest Team, Most Money Raised and NEW!!! Crowd Favorite. Men's teams will be made up of 10 team members and co-ed teams will be made up of 12. Coed teams must include at least 4 female members.Truck Pull is open to registered teams only.
Saturday, September 19 – Registration at 9:00am
Opening Ceremony at 10:00am. Event ends following final pull of the day with awards ceremony to follow.
WHERE: Anderson Municipal Airport: 282 Airport Rd, Anderson
WHY: Support United Way's efforts to help individuals and families throughout Madison County. Efforts that help young children succeed in school, families to find ways to financially THRIVE so they are empowered to support their families.
COST: $500 per team (minumum)
Money can be raised through personal fundraising efforts including online fundraising pages (available through this site). Non-pulling supporters can also help raise funds.
AWARDS: Team prizes will be awarded for Fastest Team (Co-ed and Men's), Most money raised and Crowd Favorite. Fastest Team will be based on pull times in each division. Most Money Raised by money raised by teams and their supporters beyond the $500 entry fee prior to the event. NEW!!! Crowd Favorite by additional funds raised at the event by teams. Teams are encouraged to put together their own collection jar and solicitation efforts to encourage attendees to support and vote for their team for "Crowd Favorite" at the event.
EXTRAS: Food Trucks, Music and Kids Area! Bring your friends & family to cheer your team on. Admission is only $2 for adults and $1 for kids 3 - 12. Children 2 and under FREE.
