Description
The Scholar Sprint Races are a One Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K . This race is sponsored by Argos Dollars for Scholars, and will start and finish in the Argos Community Park, Argos, IN. (Parking is located in the Park, Please use the South entrance into the park, State Road 10 entrance).
T-shirts will be the premium giveaway
Price increase when registering after June 7, 2024. Online registration open until Friday, June 18, 2024
We will have water on the course, and water available at the race pavilion.
Drinks, snacks and Awards ceremony following the event
Awards:
- First and Second Place Medals: Male and Female for 5K & 10K events.
- Scholar Sprint Course Records: 5k and 10K, first runner to break the course record in the 5K or 10K, male and female, will receive $100 cash award. (Student athletes must be aware of the restrictions governing award acceptance)
- 5K Male 16:09.78 Female 18:52:94
- 10K Male 33:15:59 Female 37:07:19
- 5K Fireman’s Challenge: Traveling trophy awarded to the first-place fireman in the 5K, Fireman Challenge Runners will compete in full fireman gear, including oxygen tanks.
- T-Shirts will be available to all runners that register before the appropriate deadlines: June 9, 2024
- Age Group Medal Awards: Age Groups: 20-25, 26-30, 31-35,36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75, 76-80

- 10K: 8:15 AM
All participants registering by June 9,2024 will receive a race T-shirt. There are no guarantees on shirts or sizes when registering past this date.
Online registration ends June 18, 2024, race day registration and packet pick up will be available at 7:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2024 prior to your race.
Race volunteers will be available along the race route providing guidance along with mile markers . Water stations are also available along the 5K and 10K routes
One Mile Fun Run: This course is a paved path which winds throughout the Argos Community Park.
5K: This is a beautiful flat fast course that travels an out and back loop through the Town of Argos.
10K: This course is a flat and fast course winding through the Town of Argos, and through the beautiful countryside of Marshall County
Runners can park their vehicles within the Argos Community Park, (please use the south park entrance from state road 10 )
About this Race:
This race is to support Argos Dollars for Scholars. Argos Dollars for Scholars is a not for profit organization comprised of volunteers. Argos Dollars for Scholars raises funds to support scholarships which are awarded to graduating Argos Seniors that wish to pursue a secondary education. Argos Dollars for Scholars is a not-for-profit organization, and your contribution is tax deductible. You are supporting a wonderful organization focused on promoting education and trade skill development..
