Bow Wow Luau

Beacon of Hope is proud to host the 2nd Annual Bow Wow Luau in Carmel Square in Carmel, Indiana on June 20, 2015. This fun run & walk is a one of a kind event that encourages participants to run or walk with their dogs. Registration will begin at 7am with the race starting at 9am and will be followed by festive music, dog contests, awards, hula hoop competitions, swim suit competitions (dogs only) and the chance to visit many pet related vendor booths. A fun event for the entire family, The Bow Wow Luau is an essential fundraising event for Beacon of Hope’s unique Foster Pet Program. This event is hosted by the staff and volunteers of Beacon of Hope Center for Women to raise money for the victims pet while staying in a safe environment with a foster family. While staying with the foster families, the pets may need veterinary care, immunizations, food, toys and bedding. All proceeds go directly towards improving the lives of the animals.
