Virtual Santa Run

2020 has had its challenges, but this year's Santa Run will help you knock the rust off, social distance, and support a good cause!   We have been incorporating a fun event that can include the whole family including the dog!  You can race from where ever you choose, home gym, or favorite location to rack up the miles.  Challenge yourself to walk/run the most miles that you can from December 1st thru December 20th.   You may use a step counter such as FitBit, Healthy Step Counter, Treadmills, or the Best Friends App. 

Help us double the fundraising efforts by logging in to the  Best Friends App (Click Here) add Cause 4Paws Gary as the team that you are walking for and it will add us to a pool for additional funding to help support the Pet Food Pantry. It is simple and easy and the app will calculate your miles all day! 

 The Gary Pet Food Pantry services qualified low-income residents in Lake County with dog food, cat food, and cat litter to help struggling pet parents feed their pets during these uncertain times.  Your participation in this race helps to ensure that we have enough supplies on hand to help them out in their time of need.  Every pet deserves a bowl of nutritious food and a warm place to sleep with a loving family.  Pet parents should not have to relinquish their pets because they are facing financial hardships through no fault of their own.
