Pre-Race Packet Pick Up Wednesday, July 15th, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Extra Mile Fitness Company, 1330 E Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN

On site race day packet pick up begins at 5PM.

RACE DAY
THERE WILL BE NO ONSITE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ON RACE DAY. ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE START OF THE RACE.  PARTICIPANTS WISHING TO REGISTER ON RACE DAY MAY REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE HEADING TO THE RACE SITE OR ON THEIR SMARTPHONE OR PERSONAL DEVICE.  Register online before heading to the race!


The run begins at 6:30 p.m. 

The starting line will be open from 6:30PM - 6:45PM. You may begin your race anytime during this time, but are asking that participants start in the following intervals:  

6:30 PM - Sub 7:00 minute per mile pace
6:32 PM - Sub 8:00 minute per mile pace
6:34 PM - Sub 10:00 minute per mile pace
6:36 PM - Sub 12:00 minute per mile pace
6:38 PM - Sub 14:00 minute per mile pace
6:40 PM - 14+ minute per mile pace

Each participant’s start time will be recorded as they cross the starting line.  As participants finish, they will receive a text message and/or email with their finishing time.  A list of overall finishing times for all competitors will be continually updated at www.thtiming.com while the race is in progress.   Shortly after 7:30 PM the final race results along with the Overall, Masters, and Age Group awards will be posted.

Overall & Age Group Awards – Top Overall Male & Female, Top Masters Male & Female,
Top 3 male and female in the following age groups:  8 and under, 9 - 10, 11 – 12, 13 – 14, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 - 49, 50 – 54, 55 - 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 - 79, 80 and up.

Award winners may claim their awards on site after the last finisher crosses the finish line (approximately 7:30PM) until 8PM

Unclaimed Overall and Age Group Awards and race packets for individuals that registered but did not participate in the event may be claimed within 14 days following the event at The Extra Mile Fitness Co., 1330 E. Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN 46383. After 14 days all unclaimed merchandise will be donated or recycled.

Participants are required to be completely self-sufficient.  No water stops, refreshments, or medical assistance will be provided.
Participants must follow all CDC safe distancing guidelines.
Participants must be in good health and symptom free from any illness for at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
After picking up their race number and upon approaching the starting line participants are required to immediately begin their race.  Participants will not be allowed to congregate or conduct any race preparation (warm-ups, stretching, adjusting or changing apparel, etc.) in the starting area.  Participants should approach the starting line ready to run.


Except for passing, participants should always remain on the far right-hand side of the pathway.  Participants passing one another on the course must adhere to “no drafting” rules which include being no closer than 10 feet behind or in front of, or 6 feet beside other competitors at any time.  Participants may pass only when there are not any oncoming runners approaching from the opposite direction.  Before passing participants must be sure they can safely remain 10 feet behind and then 10 feet in front of the participant being overtaken before merging back to the right-hand side of the pathway.
Participants must follow all instructions of the course volunteers. Failure to adhere to course volunteer instructions will result in an immediate disqualification.

Upon completing their run and crossing the finish line participant must continue moving towards the exit of the finish area.  Participants will be required to leave the finish line area and proceed immediately as soon as they complete their race.  No congregating of any type will be permitted either before, during, or after the event.
