Description
A local community event, this is the 12th annual 5K walk/run, a great way to get together, meet some new people, and donate to a good cause. The proceeds of the race will be presented to a Huntington North High School New Tech student during Achievement Day, May 2020. The funds accompany the Cade Abbett Award which is given in memory of Cade, the first graduate of the New Tech program who succumbed to Ewing Sarcoma cancer. The student/winner/recipient is selected by their New Tech peers and publicly announced ONLY on stage during the program.
