727 North Oriental Street Indianapolis, IN 46202 to map you to race day parking. (Please do not use Michigan Street entrance)
PACKET/NUMBER PICKUP: We will have a Friday afternoon bib number and t-shirt pick up from 4-6 pm outside the Chase Legacy Center.
You can also pick up your number race-day morning from 8-8:45 a.m. near the Start/Finish area near the West Gym. This is a NEW RACE REGISTRATION and TIMING SYSTEM for us, so please be patient with our volunteers as we get everyone checked in and numbers assigned.
Students and clubs interested in applying for the Arsenal 5k Scholarships and Grants, also need to stop by the scholarship table to make sure we have your correct contact info for applications.
We have t-shirts for paid registrations before September 1. If you paid registration AFTER September 1, check back after you finished the race, and we will give out the remaining t-shirts to those paid entries on a first-come first-served basis. Free student entries are not eligible for shirts. We do have some fun silver-anniversary themed bracelets and medals to hand out, so there will be something for everyone.

Description
This volunteer-organized, fun 5K Run/Walk takes place on the beautiful, historic campus of IPS Arsenal Technical High School and aims to combine health, history and a sense of community. Young runners and children are encouraged to participate. It is a casual, mixed-terrain 5k course (asphalt, concrete, brick, grass, gravel). Race starts at 9:00 a.m., and on-site registration and bib pickup start at 8:00 a.m.
Participate along with friends, family, your neighborhood, Tech alumni, clubs and teams, or join in as an individual. Everyone is welcome! Whether this is your first 5k or your 50th, we encourage runners, walkers, and teams to enjoy the course around the historic grounds and help raise money to support students.
High school seniors who would like to be eligible for an individual scholarship need to participate in some way - either completing the race or volunteering. Race entries for students are free, but do not include a race t-shirt. Arsenal Tech Extracurricular Clubs who want to be eligible for a grant also need to have members participate, volunteer or contribute in some way. Scholarships and grant amounts are determined by the funds raised, and number of applications received.
Since its inception in 2000, the Arsenal 5K Run/Walk has donated more than $65,000 in college scholarships to Near Eastside high school seniors, and has recently begun awarding funds to extracurricular clubs at Arsenal Technical High School.
Arsenal 5k Inc., has recently incorporated as a registered 501c3 non-profit. We appreciate your continued support!

Course Map
As we get closer to race day, we will confirm this year's course. Please see the map as an approximation.
The course has changed from previous years. We will begin and end by the West Gym, take a lap in Longshore Stadium (currently undergoing major repairs, but the track is open), and loop around the Fountain in the Quad. Please look for course signage and volunteers on race day to direct you - there are many, many turns!
Restrooms will be available inside the West Gym.
Also note, race surfaces are mixed! The course is mostly sidewalks and asphalt, but does go on a patch of gravel behind the East Gym. We are trying to stay off grassy areas this year.
It is not a closed course, so you may encounter pedestrians, bikes, or tree branches on the public sidewalks along 10th Street and along Oriental. Some sidewalks and areas are narrow, please use caution when passing other racers, and respect those trying to pass you.

• Meet at Tick Tock Lounge - Wednesdays thru 9/11, 5:30pm - walk through Springdale and Windsor Park neighborhoods
• Meet at La Parada - Wednesday, 9/18, 5:30pm - walk through Holy Cross and Cottage Home neighborhoods.
