Indy Inline Challenge - Spring 2023

• The Indy Inline Challenge at Major Taylor Velodrome (IIC@MTV) is happy to announce the SPRING 2023 registration is open!  The Spring 2023 IIC@MTV will be held on Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th, 2023.  
• For the Spring 2023 registration, there will be one flat entry fee to ANY and ALL events you are eligible for and want to race!  Your age on April 29, 2023 determine division/challenge up and World Class eligibility.  
• All the races will be held on the inner track of the velodrome with a super smooth surface, which measures 292 meters per lap and the outer boundary of the racing track is 333 meters, providing a super wide racing track.
• NO MEMBERSHIP to any organization or governing body is required to race.  See below for many new events, some even paying cash awards along with some have fun events!  
• We happy to have Mr. John Rogers from Inline Talk as our announcer!
• Awards will be given per distance placements.
• OVERALL division winner will receive champions jersey
• Challenge Up - Skaters can challenge up (ex: 8U to Juvenile) or down (ex: Masters to WC)
• WE RACE IN THE RAIN! (just not lightning)
• DIVISIONS - 3 DISTANCES for each division - MIDDLE, SHORT, LONG
  • 6U (6 & Under)
  • 8U (7-8)
  • Juvenile (9-10)
  • Freshman (11-13)
  • Junior (14-17)
  • Senior (18+)
  • Master 35+
  • Master 55+
  • World Class is ages 14 & UP
    • Skaters age 11 - 13 may have their coaches request participation in WC events.  (have your coach see Brian Simpson for eligibility) 
    • World Class Divisions will be running 2 distances in April
      • World Class 2 Lap Sprint - Dash for Cash!
      • World Class 30 Lap Men and 20 Lap Ladies - Overall Prize Money to top 3 placements  PLUS and sponsored prime laps (Spectators, Parents, Sponsors and everyone can choose a lap and amount to donate - the bell will ring and whoever is in the lead, gets that prize!)

·         USARS Level 1 Outdoor Clinic (separate registration through USARS required!)

o    Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 3PM to 10:30PM

·         Day 1 Competitive Heats and Finals - Quad and Inline

• 3PM to 4PM - Inline WC and Division Short Distance Heats and Finals
• 4PM to 5PM - Quad Short and Middle distance events
• 5PM to 5:30PM - Relaty and Team Pursuit Events
• 5:30PM to 6PM Quad Long distance events
• 6PM to 7PM Inline WC and Division Middle Distance events
• 7PM to 7:30PM Quad Awards
• 7:30 to 9PM Inline WC and Division Long Distance events
• 9PM Inline Awards
• 9:30 PM World Class Elimination/Points Event (Cash awards)

$55 through January 31, 2023
$65 through March, 31, 2023

$75 through April 28, 2023
$85 for same day registration on April 29, 2023

 The competition will be held on the cycling warm-up track with a super smooth and fast surface. At 297m on the inner lane and 333m at its widest making a 25+ foot wide track providing for up to 3 wide racing.  This event is not sanctioned by any group or organization, therefore no registration is required. All skaters will need to sign the track/facility waiver upon arrival or in advance at the Indy Cycloplex website.  Proof of waiver completion is required.

Each division will have a minimum of 3 distances.  

‘Challenging' to the next division is allowed only may challenge one additional division. Please indicate challenging in the entry sheet or comments on runsignup.com.
