Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K and 1 Mile Donut Dash

Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5k on September 21st  will be held at Nappanee Elementary 755 E Van Buren St, Nappanee, IN 46550. 

This event will start and finish at Nappanee Elementary School.

Whether you are a long time competitive runner or a beginner you are welcome!! After you run or walk, plan time with family or friends in the small town shops and all Nappanee Apple Festival has to offer!   

New this year we are adding a 1 mile kids run.  Only top 3 Boys/Girls 12 and under will receive maple awards. 
New this year Multi-Person Pricing if you sign up 4 or more. Save $3.00 / Registrant
New this year you can join a group/team or make your own group/team.

Start Time - 

5k run/walk starts at 8:30 AM.

1 Mile run starts at 8:00 AM 

PACKET PICK UP  - Will be held Friday night September 20th from 6-8 PM & Saturday morning September 21st from 7 AM - 8:15 AM  Nappanee Elementary School. Participants will be able to pick up their shirts and race bibs.

SHIRTS  - After August 17 shirts are first come, first serve until we run out!! If you do not pick up your shirt at the event , unclaimed shirts will not be mailed out.  Shirts will be given to runners that could not get a shirt or donated

Pricing and Dates - 

May 12 - 18 Only $15.00 for 5K and 1 mile kids run (12 and younger) $8. 
MAY 19 - 31   $18 for 5k and 1mile kids (12 and younger) run 10.
JUNE 1 - 30   $20 for 5k  and 1mile kids run (12 and younger) $15.00. 
JULY 1st to Till Race day  $25 for 5K  and 1 mile kids (12 and younger) run $20.

Refreshments - All participants will receive apple, donut and apple cider at the finish line.  

Awards - 

1 Mile Awards will be awarded to the top 3 Boys and 3 Girls ages 12 and Under. 

5K overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women overall. 

Awards age grouping for 5K only: 
The top 3 male & female runners will receive custom apple award 
Male: 9 – under, 10 -14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 -74,75 -79, 80+
Female: 9 – under, 10 -14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 -74, 75- 79, 80+

Awards will be given out soon after the last person crosses the finish line 

Awards will not be mailed after the event

Parking & Bathrooms - Parking and bathrooms is available at Nappanee Elementary School.

Street Closures on Saturday Morning - East Marion ( starting line area) St between North Jackson and Morningside Dr will be closed from 7 - 10 AM on race morning. 

Timing  - Chip timing by Watt’s My Time

Guidelines for Dogs Attending the Event - All dogs must be kept on a NON-retractable leash and under supervision at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Any dog displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs must be immediately removed from the race by its owner.

Shuttles - There is a shuttle at Nappanee Elementary to take you to Downtown Nappanee to the Nappanee Apple Festival. 

Race day registration will be online only...NO PAPER REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY.
