Description
Our 5K Run for Science is intended to bring awareness to scientific advancements that are leading the way to a sustainable future. From research on the impact of wildfires to the development of more efficient solar panels, scientific advancements will continue to provide answers that will help us address a diverse range of social challenges. Scientific work intended to support the well being of our planet also provides us with auxiliary benefits such as cleaner air, a more secure food supply and new job opportunities. All proceeds from our 5K Run for Science will support 'Green Research' a local non-for-profit that uses E-waste to process computations that advance medical research all while supporting green energy.
Check-In starts at 8:45AM and the run starts at 9:30AM.
