GLoW Youth Center 5K Run/Walk

Come out and support the local youth in our community on September 16th for our 4th annual 5K! Proceeds from our race will go towards GLoW Youth Center held at Woodlan Elementary to make a positive impact of the youth of the community of Woodburn. Your support allows us to continue to teach, 100 kids weekly, about Jesus Christ and  how they can make a difference in their school and community.

This is a chip timed event by runkra.org with a kids run to kick off the event! Family friendly and for a great cause for our local community!

WHERE: Race begins at Woodburn Shelter House Overmeyer St Woodburn, IN 46797

WHEN: SEPTEMBER 16TH
3:00-4:30PM - Packet Pick-Up for Kids Run and 5K/Day of Registration/Bidding on Silent Auction begins
4:45PM - Kids Run (ages 10 and younger)
5:00PM - Run/Walk begins/Carryout dinner sales start
6:30PM - Awards for 5K/Silent Auction winners announced
*Bidding for silent auction ends 30 minutes after commencment of run

Kids Run: Register online by August 18th for guaranteed t-shirt for $10. Pre-registration ends on September 12th at 11:59pm. You may register day of event, but t-shirt is not guaranteed. All parents must be present to register their child for this event.

5K Run/Walk: Register online by July 31st for guaranteed t-shirt for $20 . After July 31st, register online for $25 until August 18th for guaranteed t-shirt. Pre-registration ends on September 12th at 11:59pm. You may register day of event, but t-shirt is not guaranteed. This is a chip timed event by runkra.org.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the fastest man and woman overall. Also, top man and woman in each age group: 12 and under; 13-20; 21-30; 31-40; 41-50; 51-60; 61-70; 70+

Not a serious runner? No problem! We have our share of serious racers, but we have a lot of people like you who care about the kids in our community. Run it, walk it - we're all changing the community together.
