I SUPPORT THE GIRLS

CURRENT DONATIONS: 30 boxes of pads and tampons (500 pads, 708 tampons), 28 bras, $55 

OVERVIEW:

Help support local women and girls in need of essential feminine products by running or walking a 5K!! Our, Girl Scout Troop 4487’s, goal is to receive 100 bras and 500 total menstrual hygiene products between 3/6/2021 and 4/10/2021 to donate to the international organization I SUPPORT THE GIRLS! To show support while running or walking, go all out with pink clothing!! Send your favorite and most funny picture to 317-666-3224 through text to be featured on this website and social media to spread awareness and support!!! Admission is $30 worth of menstrual hygiene products and/or bras, or simply $30. Keep reading for all the information!

GOAL:

To collect or purchase 100 bras and 500 menstrual hygiene items for women and girls in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, correctional facilities and re-entry programs, foster care centers, low-income schools, youth programs, LGBTQ agencies, food pantries, and more.

ADMISSION:

Option 1:

$30 worth of the following items (deliver in the bin on the front porch at 8805 Sandstone Place Zionsville, IN OR deliver in the bin in the counseling office of ZCHS):

                    - unopened packages of TAMPONS

                    - unopened packages of PADS

                    - new or lightly used and washed BRAS in good condition (any size/type will suffice)

Option 2:

$30 (Venmo @Troop4487zionsvillegirlscouts (the Venmo QR code is in the photos section of this website) OR make out a check to “Troop 4487” (write “I support the girls” in the notes) and drop it off in the bin at the counseling office at ZCHS or the bin at 8805 Sandstone Place or the bin at 1990 Mulsanne Drive OR drop off cash at any of the bins in these locations)

*All monetary proceeds will be used to purchase and donate more products for this fundraiser!

FUNDRAISER:

Girl Scout troop 4487 is hosting an ongoing fundraiser for bras and menstrual hygiene products along with this virtual 5K from 3/6/21 – 4/10/21.  If you or anyone you may know has these items laying around or is kind enough to purchase them, feel free to drop off donations at 8805 Sandstone Place or the counseling office at ZCHS aside from this run!! And spread the word!!!
