Fiddlers 5k, Kids Fun Run, and Family Fun Day

The Athens State University Alumni Association is hosting the annual Fiddlers 5k Race, Kids Fun Run, and Family Fun Day event.  The proceeds from this event will provide scholarships benefit for new and current students.  Also, proceeds will benefit the Nazaretian Scholarship in honor of Dr. Angeline Nazaretian.  This fun day will feature an inflatable slide, bouncy house, and free hamburgers and hot dogs.  

Our USAT certified race route will begin and end at Athens State University and will showcase the historical district in Athens. Our free Kids fun run will start and end on Athens State Campus and will be highlighted by an appearance from Hebrew the Bear. Our goal is to have 250 runner, showcase the history and beauty of Athens, and provide our community with a family friendly event that everyone can participate in.
