Elberta Weiner Dash 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run

Location:

Race day packet pick-up and race day registration will take place at Elberta High School (3355 Main St, Elberta, AL 36530). The 5K race will start on Kichler Circle South. The Fun Run will start immediately after the completion of the 5K; Fun Run will start and finish at the 5K finish line.

Distance:

Runners follow a certified (AL16029JD) 5K course through the countryside around Elberta, AL. The Fun Run is approximately 1 Mile, and will start and finish at the 5K finish line.

Registration:

Early packet pick-up will be on October 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Elberta Park.

Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6:30 – 7:45 AM at Elberta High School.

Awards:

5K: Top male and female overall, top male and female walker (no running), top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

FUN RUN: Top 3 overall boys and girls, must be registered for the FUN RUN.

Shirts:

To guarantee a shirt on race day, your application must be received by October 11.

Post-Race Party:

Race packets will include a voucher for 2 drinks and 1 sausage dog. Awards ceremony will be at the Centennial Bank Stage beside the Bier Garten at 10 AM. Please join us for the Elberta German Sausage Festival immediately following the race.
