Green Mountain Trail Race

Fleet Feet Huntsville and The Land Trust of North Alabama are excited to present the Trail Blazer Race Series!

Explore the Land Trust trails this summer with the first annual Trail Blazer Race Series! The series consists of five trail races at various Land Trust properties in and around the Huntsville area. Each race will be 3-5 miles, and all races are open to runners of all abilities. 

The cost of the series is $50. That’s only $10 per race! Registrants will receive a t-shirt and special series medal. Only 100 series entries available.

Each individual race will also have overall and age group awards.

Race Details

June 15 - Green Mountain Nature Preserve - Race award: coffee mug

June 29 - Roy B. Whitaker Paint Rock River Preserve - Race award: trucker hat

July 6 - Harvest Square Nature Preserve - Race award: pub glass

July 27 - Blevins Gap Nature Preserve - Race award: drawstring tote bag

August 10 - Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve - Race award: Ultimate frisbee

Race awards will be given to top 3 overall male and female, top 3 male and female masters, and first place male and female in each age group. Age groups are 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.

Individual race entries are available for $15 per race. T-shirt and series medal are NOT included with individual race entry.

A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Land Trust of North Alabama. You can also donate an additional amount to the Land Trust during registration or by clicking the "Donate" button at the top of this page.
