We Run $5 - Virtual-ish 5K Bradford Creek

Who is tired of being cooped up and seeing races everywhere being cancelled?  Who wants to get back to it?

Then,  join us for this "virtual-ish 5k" for Girl on the Run of North Alabama. Each month will be a different location, you will have 10 days to run/walk a 5k at this venue (Virtual-ish means everyone runs the same course, just not at the same time, due to Covid-19 restrictions). We are using the honor system for results, so once you complete your run, you'll record your own time to Runsignup.com.  Click here to see how to submit your results.  You can even upload your GPS data, click here to find out how. We will finalize the results, the last Sunday after noon.

We will post a map of the course here and on the We Run Huntsville Facebook page.

We will be at the park and on the course each Saturday 7-9am, cheering you on and taking photos of those who choose to run during that time.  While at the park, we ask everyone to follow state COVID-19 guidelines for social distancing, including wearing a mask, if you can't maintain 6 feet separation.  We are setting up this virtual event to keep everyone safe!  

The is a no-frills event (no shirts, no aid stations and no official timing).  This is just for fun.  And the best part?  This is a FREE event.  We are merely asking for a minimum  $5 donation.  All proceeds will go to a charity to be selected by all of YOU. We will be conducting a poll on our Facebook page to select the charity.

Run your 5k anytime between Friday and Sunday of the dates for that race.
