Splash of Color 5k Fun Run

The City of Livingston and the Livingston Union School District have joined forces to present the first annual Splash of Color 5k Fun Run. This amazing run directs its participant to run through showers of colored powder at five different color stops throughout the race course.  The Splash of Color 5k Fun Run can be referred to as the craziest, happiest most colorful 5k in California! This untimed family oriented event will be held in Livingston and is expected to attract over 1,000 participants of all ages. The race will be held Saturday May 11, 2019. Check in is at 9am at the Livingston Middle School and the race will start at 10am after the check-in party and color blast!

This event has attracted sponsors such as Bright Development, Dot Transportation, Rolling F Credit Union, Winton Ireland Strom & Green Insurance Agency, Yard Masters Inc and more. Because of the generous sponsorships the race entry fee is only $5 in advance and $10 if you want a Color kit to include an event T-shirt the entry fee and an extra color packet and bottle of water. Pre-registration is required for the color kit and can be done at any of the Livingston Union School District Offices or City Hall, 1416 C Street in Livingston. Pre-registration deadline for the $10 color kit and $5 entry is April 17, 2019. You can register at the run however it is $10 with no frills(entry fee only).

This event even with its low entry fee is a fund raiser for both the schools and the city recreation department to assist in offering healthy activities to its students and players. Whether you want to run, walk or dance through the course, gather your friends, family, co-workers or neighbors and register for this amazing colorful event!
