Description
Introducing a 10K course for the 2015 Triunfo Y Goblin Gallop. The Triunfo Y Goblin Gallop 10K, 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run is part of the afternoon and evening Westlake Village City Celebration. The City Celebration features a Fun Fair benefitting the White Oak Elementary School PFC. For more information on the City Celebration, click here. The Goblin Gallop is a Halloween-themed twilight run featuring a costume contest and out and back course. The event includes a 1-mile Trick or Treat Fun Run followed by a 10K run and 5K run. Goblin Gallop runners are encouraged to run/walk wearing their favorite costume. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes seen on the course. Kids participating in the 1-mile Trick or Treat Fun Run will be able to “visit” the numerous Trick or Treat stations along the course. Event proceeds will help support the Triunfo Y Teen and Family Programs. The Goblin Gallop is part of the YMCA Run for Your Community Series. Costume Contest
We will also be holding a competition for the best costume. If you are interested in participating in the fun, all you have to do is check in at the costume contest booth before the run and you will be entered into the competition. The top 5 costumes will win awards
Parking
There will be plenty of parking available in the Farmers Insurance parking lots on Agoura Road, across from the Westlake Village Civic Center
Registration Policy
Entry fees are non-refundable.
In the event you are unable to run, you may apply to transfer your entry to another participant. Requests for transfer must be received by October 10, 2015.
Prizes
Race medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of the 13 age groups for the 10K and 5K only
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pickup will be on:
Friday, October 16th from 6 to 8pm at Sports Authority, 120 S. Westlake Blvd, Westlake Village, CA 91362.
Race day, October 17th from 2pm to 4:30pm at Westlake Village Civic Center.
Allow plenty of time to pick up your packet prior to the start of the races.
Safety
All participants in the 10K and 5K races will be required to have a reflective vest, light and/or glow gear. Runners will be checked prior to entering the starting area.
