Alas Run to End Violence

Celebrate National Crime Victims' Rights Week with us from April 18th-24th by participating in the Alas 5/10k race! National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) is a time for Latina SafeHouse and the community to renew our commitment to serving all survivors, acknowledge those who have been affected by different types of crime, and to remember those we have lost as a result of direct crime.

Run or walk around your neighborhood, your favorite park, or on the treadmill to support and help raise community awareness for survivors of domestic violence and all other types of crime. The walk gives everyone the opportunity to publicly take a stand against violence in our communities. Let's stand together to honor those who have lost their lives and those who have survived in making the world a safer place for all.

The 5k entrance fee is $30 and the 10k entrance fee is $45. Participants will receive a completion gift after the event. Your entrance fee will help provide direct support for survivors of domestic violence. If you signed up to participate in last years Alas race, your fees may be waived, please email us at events@latinasafehouse.org to learn more.
