The Wash Park Circuit

If you're a runner in Denver, then you know Washington Park. Whether you've run there once, or you know every inch of the loop, "Wash" is the undisputed center of the Mile High City's running scene. On November 17, we will see who is the champion of Wash Park. One lap as fast as you can go!

The event will have races for all ages and abilities, as well as a free kids race. There will also be a 4 person team competition for men, women, and co-ed teams.

Course: One lap around Wash Park inner (road) loop, counter-clockwise, starting and ending at Mississippi Ave- 2.25 miles. There will be timed splits at the mile and two mile marks. See full course map below. 

This is a USA Track & Field Sanctioned Event. 

Race Schedule

9:00- Kids Quarter Mile 

9:30- Women's Race (all divisions)

10:00- Men's Race (all divisions)

Awards: 

Medals for top 25 finishers in kids race

Youth Division- New Balance shoes for top boy and girl

Open Division- Prizes from ROLL Recovery for top 3 men and women 

Masters Division- Prizes from RNWY for top 3 men and women

Elite Division- $300-$200-$100 Fleet Feet Gift Cards for top male and female finishers and a $300 Cash Bonus for breaking Strava Segment

• Women's Segment: Shelby Houlihan- 12:36 (5:40 pace) 

Team Competition- Awards for Top Male, Female, and Co-ed Team (four person average)

Packet Pick-up- New Balance will be sponsoring packet-pickup at Fleet Feet Cherry Creek from 12:00-4:00pm on Saturday November 16, including bib decorating and more! 

*We will also have race day packet pickup and race day registration on the morning of the event

Awards Ceremony and Post Race Party- After the race, head to Blackbird Public House for brunch, drinks, and a post-race party! We will do awards for Open, Masters, and Elite Athletes starting at 11:00pm in the community room.
