Frozen Foot Snowshoe 5k

The Frozen Foot Snowshoe 5k is part of a day of fun winter events in Pagosa Country and will take place on beautiful Wolf Creek Pass in the San Juan Mountains just east of Pagosa Springs.  It will follow the Frozen Foot Fat Tire Race that starts at 9:00am at the same location.

The race will be on a well groomed trail with a steady climb, some flats and of course a generous downhill.  There will be lots of snow, sweeping mountain vistas, and a great time.  

The race starts at 9:15 am sharp.  We will be at approximately 10,000 ft. above sea level so please dress accordingly.

Directions From Pagosa Springs  -  Head east on US HWY 160 for approximately 20 miles.  Forest Service Road #725 will be on your right hand side.  There is a generous pull out on the side of HWY 160 that may be used for parking.  This area is normally used for snowmobile trucks and trailers as many snowmobile tours are held on this trail.

Registration Fee:  $25 for all ages

After the race, head down to Motel Soco for the rest of the Frozen Foot Fiesta activities.  A snow volleyball tournament will begin at 2:00pm and the awards ceremony for all events will start at 5:00pm.   Bring the whole family for a fun day of Frozen Foot Fun!
