Jingle Jog 5k for Gifts of Love

Hello there! My name is Kylie Wishneski and I am a Canton High School senior. For my Canton Mastery Project, I am holding a 5k run or walk through Canton to benefit the Gifts of Love holiday store! This organization is based in Avon, CT and provides household goods and food to individuals and families who are experiencing a financial crisis. Their holiday store allows parents to pick out brand new toys for children of all ages for free. To read more about Gifts of Love and their mission, you can visit their website. Bring a brand new toy or make a monetary donation to participate and help spread joy this holiday season! Monetary donations will cover the costs of holding the race and all additional funds will go directly to Gifts of Love. This is a charity event so there will be no prizes given out. Hot chocolate, water, and snacks will be available to all!

The 5k will start at the high school by the bleachers and follow the sidewalk to the left out of the driveway towards Mills Pond Park. Runners will turn left onto Colony Road and run to the end where a trail takes you back to the school parking lot. This loop will be done twice for a total of 3.1 miles!
