Race Cancellation
This year due Covid restrictions and additional approvals at the State level, we started very late in our process to have a successful race. Our process would normally start in February, giving us time to promote and get the volunteers needed to have our race.
With just two weeks to the race we are less than 60 runners and no volunteers. Because of this and the fixed cost of the race, it does not make sense to go forward. Therefore it is with heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the race.
My commitment to the cause and this race is not over, just another unfortunate pause. My hope is to be back next year stronger the ever. Please watch this website or our Facebook for updates.

Join us in downtown Bethany Beach, Delaware on August 8, 2021 for the 6th Annual 5k Run/Walk to benefit the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter. Finish on the boardwalk and celebrate your accomplishment with a great post race celebration and awards ceremony.
PACKET PICK UP INFORMATION - TBA
Sunday, August 2nd 6:15am to 7:00am. Bethany Beach Boardwalk & Garfield Pkwy
*packet pick up closes promptly at 7:00am. Give yourself plenty of time and arrive early. Packet Pick Up will be located on the Boardwalk at the end of Garfield Parkway.
**You will be allowed to pick up Race Packets for friends and family. We ask that you please advise them you will be picking up their packet to avoid confusion. If you pre-registered and you cannot race or attend the race, you must pick up or arrange to have your shirt picked up during the scheduled Packet Pick-up hours. We will NOT hold or ship and unclaimed shirts.
