Packet pickup is at Start line at Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park on race morning 745-845am and also the day before from noon-330pm at Delaware Running Co. store in Greenville.
Fun & flat course, with great refreshments after the race. 9am start time. Stick around for the after party. See Directions/Parking
DDC 15K
43rd Annual 15K Road Race held on the Wilmington, DE Riverfront. A USATF 15k Championship and Grand Prix Event. Certified, Fast and Mostly Flat! PRIZE MONEY. 15K race features a total of $1100 in prize money and 10 year age groups for awards. 15K USATF Course Certification # DE26003JLW
DDC 5K Run/Walk
Run or walk the race on the boardwalk and riverfront, past the DuPont Environmental Education Center and return.
NEW! Race Day Parking for Participants and Volunteers:
- Amtrak parking lot is just across the street from Start/Finish at 111 French St., Wilmington, DE 19801. Enter from French St. only. Participants will be emailed a voucher for $5 (discounted) all-day parking, paid when departing.
- Free parking is available at 601 S. Madison St. lot and streets throughout the riverfront area on first-come-first-served basis.
- NO PARKING is permitted in the small lot for Riverfront Market / Banks Seafood
Our Running Club
The Pike Creek Valley Running Club was founded in 1982 by runners who resided in the Pike Creek area of New Castle County, Delaware.
Our club is dedicated to promoting physical fitness through running. Although comprised primarily of Delaware runners from the Newark and Wilmington areas, we have members from other parts of Delaware and surrounding areas of Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
We welcome runners of all levels of ability from beginning joggers to the highly competitive road racer to marathoners. Walkers are also welcome. PCVRC currently has over 160 families and individual members. We are a social club and very supportive of all our member's running goals. Most importantly, we have a great time running.
