Monster Challenge July (Dr. Seuss Edition)

Relevant Running is always looking for ways to keep you motivated and inspired. Join us throughout July 2021 for Monster Challenge (The Dr. Seuss Edition). Earn the Monster Challenges medal AND fun Dr. Seuss mini-medals and buttons AND pins! This is a virtual challenge for runners and walkers of all ages anywhere at any time.
 
Monster Challenge participants will earn:
The Monster Challenges medal after logging 50 purposeful/training miles for the month (scroll down for picture of medal). Participants who surpass 50 miles will earn 1 assorted Dr. Seuss themed button or mini-medal for each additional 10 miles (samples pictured below). You may earn up to a limit of 12 Dr. Seuss themed buttons or mini-medals. For example: Run or walk 170 purposeful/training miles in July and you've earned the Monster medal and the max of 12 Dr. Seuss themed items. Participants who run or walk more than the previously mentioned 170 miles will earn 1 assorted NON-Dr. Seuss item (pins) for each additional 10 miles. Scroll down for samples of pins.

Tracking
You will upload your purposeful/training miles into Runsignup daily during the Challenge. You will be able to see your progress tracking bar as well as milestones achieved along the way. You will also be able to follow others that are currently active in the Challenge.  

Challenge duration:
After you register, you can start/join the Challenge any time after 12:01am Eastern time July 1st 2021. Complete your miles at your own pace throughout the month. The Challenge ends at 11:59pm Eastern time July 31st 2021. 

Leaderboard Status
You will be able to log your distance, time for each run or walk. This will track who is in the lead.

Complete the challenge distance.
Receive your amazing Monster Challenges medal, AND Dr. Seuss bling, AND pins (if you run or walk the extra miles to earn them).

Medals and other items will ship after the Challenge completes.
