Description

We are dedicating this member appreciation to the community and living into our non-for-profit status!  This will be running with a twist and everyone is invited!  Rather than a traditional race we are partnering with Cora Physical Therapy and hosting a prediction run for members and guest June 18 at our 5:00 am and 6:00 am group run in Tinseltown or participate virtually.  If you participate in person, PRS will have water and Gatorade stationed every two miles along the marked route and after  get some recovery therapy with Cora and yummy treats will be waiting for you when you finish. Here is how it works:

1.       Register

2.       Enter or email (board@prsrunningclub.com) the mileage you are going to run, walk, bike or swim and the time you will finish in

3.       Donate the amount of your choice to support the Beaches Fine Arts Series (100% of the funds are being donated and tax receipts are available)

After you complete the event you will submit your results to board@prsrunningclub.com. We are hoping that everyone does this in good faith and has a lot of fun with it but there is a prize for the winner!  The winner will get 1-year of FREE races with PRS Race Timing- this includes 5ks, half marathons and marathons! In the event of a tie, we will hold a random drawing. We will close out the submission for results June 24 and announce the winner.

Next year, the Beaches Fine Arts organization will be celebrating 50 years of offering people in North Florida the opportunity to enjoy world-class music and dance in an annual season of performances, ALL FOR FREE! Programming encompasses an eclectic blend of styles from classical to contemporary, jazz to world music, and traditional to avant-garde.  Their award-winning educational outreach programs serve area schools both in person and virtually, they even cover all of the busing- there are no costs to the schools which are primarily title one schools. They also present visual art exhibits at their concerts and receptions featuring the work of exceptional visual artists from all over the region.  Their education outreach program is designed for elementary through college and they target schools whose funding has limited arts exposure.  This affords these youth exposures to the arts that they might not have been afforded otherwise.

So grab a friend and lace up and let’s run for the arts!

***Please note we are doing this during our weekly group long run and no roads will be closed but there will be signs dictating turns along the route along with run captains driving the course.  This will be an out and back course.
