Run the Streets with GlobeMed

The first annual 5K, hosted by Miss FIU 2014, will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2014 at the Modesto Maidique Campus Nature Preserve Jogging Trail. There will be two running waves. The first wave will start at 8am, and the second wave will start at 10am. Registration and bib packet pickup will commence at 7am and end at 9:50am.

We will be raising funds for the establishment of a medical clinic alongside the EDELAC school for children at risk of being homeless; the community currently has no form of public health institution or community health clinic. The project will provide support to equip the clinic and supply the equipment essential to function effectively. These services will benefit local children and community members who lack health care access. We hope to see you there for a day of fun, supporting an amazing cause either as an individual or as part of a team. Prizes will be given to the overall best team time, and also best male and female individual time. Access to the race can be made easier by entering the FIU campus through the 117th avenue and 17th street entrance.
