Description

The 12th Annual “Fire House 5K” is a 5K Run and a 1-mile fun run in Covington, Georgia. This race will start and finish at Legion Field. All 5K finishers will receive a finishers medal. Proceeds will go to "The Covington Fireman's Memorial Scholarship Fund" which provides scholarships to graduating High School Seniors, as well as Covington Fire Captain Brian Thompson, who is fighting a serious illness.

Early Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup is available on Friday, October 14 at Legion Field from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.

Course

Course is USATF certified. GA19031WC. Start is on Newton Drive. Finish is at Legion Field. Course runs through downtown Covington and adjacent neighborhoods. Click here for a map.

Awards

Special custom-made pottery awards will be given to 5K Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female winners in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over, and top M/F Public Safety.

The Firehouse 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series.

What if it Rains?

We get wet! Race start may be delayed in 15-minute increments in the event of storms. Sorry, no refunds due to weather.
