Lots of prizes!
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in each age group will receive a custom medal!
Completed run entries will be accepted between 10/12/2020 and ends on 10/31/2020.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has embraced the Sunshine Kids™ Foundation as its national charitable benefactor. The Sunshine Kids Foundation was founded by Rhoda Tomasco in 1982 while she was serving as a volunteer in the pediatric cancer unit of a hospital in Houston, Texas. After seeing the loneliness and depression among children during their extended hospital treatments, Rhoda had a vision to provide these young cancer patients with opportunities to participate in positive group activities which promoted self-esteem, personal accomplishment and just plain old fashioned fun! Today, that vision has been realized many times over, as thousands of children from hospitals across the country have benefited from The Sunshine Kids Foundation’s many programs and national and regional events.

Pumpkin Carving contest winner will receive a $100 gift card! 2nd place will receive a $75 gift card and 3rd place will receive a $50 gift card.

To enter the pumpkin carving contest and costume contest please send a photo to monsterdashga@gmail.com You must be signed up as a runner to enter. All entries are due by 10/31/2020. HOW IT WORKS
Our 1st Monster Dash 5K for Sunshine Kids is going virtual. Let's come together as a community while staying apart!
Here is how it works...
Step 1. Register to run/walk the virtual 5K and invite your friends to join!
Step 2. Your race swag will be delivered to your door via USPS on the last week of October. Shipping is included and you will receive email with tracking # as soon as your items are shipped!
Step 3. Run/walk the distance on your own, using our RaceJoy app or one of your other favorites to track your time and distance! Then, submit your time to be added to the Monster Dash 5K results leader board. Post a picture of your run to Facebook or Instagram using ##sunshinekidsmonsterdash2020
Step 4: You did it! Enjoy a cup of coffee or ice cream!

Q: Do I have to be in GA/From GA to do this event?
A: No you do not have to be in or from GA to do this, anyone in the world can do this event!
Q: How do I record my miles?
A: You have a couple of options, read more on that here: https://runsignup.com/Race/1stAnnualMonsterDashforSunshineKids/Page/howtosubmityourtime
Q: Do I have to run or can I walk?
A: you can Run, Walk, Run/walk, any way you can to get the miles.
Q: Do I have to run/walk outside?
A: You can run anywhere! That being said the RaceJoy app uses GPS to map your race and record your time so an outdoor run may be best!
Q: Do have to complete the race on a specific date and time?
A: No, the neat thing about virtual is you complete your 5K run/walk on your time, where you are anytime between 10/12 and 10/31!
Q: Is there a planned course?
A: You can complete the race ANYWHERE!
