2021 Trans-America Race

Have you ever wanted to run across America? Here is your chance for 2021. A lot of people can not stop their lives for months to run the entire country so we are offering the virtual option! Inspired by the first Trans-America race in 1928 running from Los Angeles to New York (over 3400 miles) we decided to run or bike from San Diego California to Tybee Island Georgia, 2424 miles, any time before 2022. Take as little time or all of 2021 to run the entire country. It averages out to 202 miles a month to complete the whole adventure if you spread it out over 12 months. You can track your progress as you go by logging your miles and watch as you cross each state on the virtual map.

RACE OPTIONS: Register as a solo runner, a team, or bike option to cover the whole distance.

START DATE: You can start as early as Oct 1st 2020 to complete the whole race across the USA by 2022.

SWAG: All runners will be mailed a race shirt, sticker and unique medal. You can add on a hoodie for a few more bucks. Everyone registered before Oct 1st will have their swag mailed to them in early October. Everyone after October 1st will have their swag mailed to them after January 1st. 

Log your miles:

Once you log into runsignup.com go to the Trans America Race and click on results. Once you click on results there will be a tab for "submit virtual results." You will type your name in the participant box and that will send you to the page to enter your miles. You have the option to enter your time and elevation too if you'd like but you don't have to enter those. This is where you log your miles each day for your journey across the USA!
