Description
Nearly Naked 5K Run/Walk is the most unusual 5K! Participants are asked to start the event in as many layers of clothing as possible. At each kilometer mark, they will shed a piece of clothing - all to be donated to a local charity"The Catherine McAuley Center".
The Catherine McAuley Center is the only agency in our area to provide one-on-one tutoring for adult learners and a transitional housing program specifically designed for women and their unique needs in overcoming poverty and homelessness.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will also benefit the "SeriousFun children's network". They provide children living with serious illnesses with a spectacular camp experience and high-quality medical care, all in the safest and most supportive environment. It’s high-flying, friendship-building, memory-making fun. They deliver unforgettable experiences that have a life-changing impact.
