Description
Join Mid-America Real Estate Group for a virtual 5k supporting Feeding America. Run, jog, bike or walk at your own pace on a treadmill, track, sidewalk, trail or anywhere you can safely move.
Participants are encouraged to post photos on social media commemorating their support using the hashtag #MAVirtual5k and tagging Mid-America, @midamerica_re.
5K Run/Walk Adult Registration: $25/person (18 years or older)
5K Run/Walk Youth Registration: $15/person (17 years and under)
Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Thanks to donations and support from businesses, government organizations and individuals like you, the Feeding America network of food banks, pantries and meal programs serve virtually every community in the United States — 40 million people, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors.
How Does it Work?
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL EVENT? A virtual event is a walking/running event that you can complete anytime/anyplace! On May 16th, you can join in on this event by completing your 5K anywhere you like.
WHERE DO I PARTICIPATE? It's up to you - you can choose your own course around your neighborhood or even run on a treadmill. Follow CDC Guidelines with respect to social distancing.
