During this season of Hope & JOY, put on your tennis shoes and BRING JOY to young adults fighting cancer. They need JOY & HOPE with the gift of a Nik's Christmas Wish!
How can you help? 100% of proceeds and donations for this event goes directly to funding our wishes (see below for more info). Stay active, stay connected, and help BRING JOY to young adults and their families fighting cancer!

TO JOIN:
- Register for the 5k Run/Walk
- Complete your distance any time in the month of November or December.. while observing proper social distancing of course!
- Submit your time (this is optional and you will receive instructions during signup)
- Post your pics on our facebook page (optional)
- Take a Victory Lap around the bases because you just hit a Home Run for kids with Cancer!

CHARITY
This race generates funds for the Nikolas Ritschel Foundation (Nik's Wish) to help young adults in need. Make-A-Wish stops supporting after 17 years of age leaving young adults to fight alone. Nik believed that young adults need a wish too, so the night before cancer took his life, Nik's wish was for us to help. Our all volunteer charity has helped 182 cancer warriors in 32 states have a wish to create precious moments of joy. Sadly many who we help do not beat cancer, so these memories are priceless to the families. COVID has hit our fundraising activities hard and these 10 wishes are in need of funding. Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way. Perhaps one of the hardest words to hear is that your child has cancer. Young adults ages 18-24 have been forgotten in the cancer support network. Even Make-A-Wish end after 17. Wishes BRING JOY & HOPE during a dark time.
