Description
We are back for the 38th Annual Shamrock Shuffle!
We will start and end again at Johnny's Tavern, 401 N. 2nd Street at 9am. The routes will wind thru historic North Lawrence and Pinkney neighborhoods. All money raised from the Shamrock Shuffle will benefit the Douglas County children's charities selected in September by the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee.
Your registration includes a commemorative race day shirt, participation award, and an awesome Irish breakfast provided by Johnny’s North and your friends at the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee. Aid stations will be on the course approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group, as well as overall male and female awards, overall Master male and female awards, and Super Masters in male and female.

Family 5K
Kids Rate: If a youngster age 16 or under wants to run the 5K, WITH A PARENT, they can run for $10 - and this includes a shirt! The child/children must be entered at the same time as the adult and will receive an official race bib and number. When registering please select the multi-person pricing (one kid or two), and then click the Add Another Registrant button to enter the child's info.
A 2nd kid can be added to run with a parent for another $10.
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be held on Friday, March 5th from 1-6 PM at Ad Astra, 835 Massachusetts in Lawrence, and on Saturday at Johnny’s North, 401 N 2nd Street, beginning at 7:00 AM.
It is highly recommended that you come to Friday’s packet pickup if you can, as this will greatly decrease your wait time the morning of the race. We can also make changes to your registration or register new runners during this pickup session as well as on race day.
Packets will include any additional purchases (parade tees and other swag) made during online registration.
Tee Shirts
Tee shirts are included in the race fee but must be pre-ordered and are therefore only available for a limited time. The cutoff date for 2027 is to be determined (usually mid to late Febraury). If you do not see the tee shirt size selection option during registration, you can check with us after the start of the race to see if we have any extras. Sizes available after the race will be determined by what extras we may have on hand.
Awards
Awards can be picked up at the awards table on the back patio of Johnny's Tavern after the race.
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K and the 10K.
Masters (ages 40-54): The top male and top female in both the 5K and the 10K will receive an award.
Super Masters Awards (ages 55+): The top male and top female in both the 5K and the 10K will receive an award.
Age group awards will be given to the top three males and the top three females in the following age groups in the 5K and in the 10K: under 10; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
