IMPORTANT: CHANGE IN VENUE!!!!
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS SLIGHT CHANGE OF PLANS:
Due to road construction around the school we will be moving our "base" site down the road from CTE to Park City Baptist Church off Kechi Road (aka: the South Frontage Road off of 61st Street between Independence & Hydraulic).
Kechi Road will serve as our Start and Finish line location and will also have our food vendors and food court. We will use the North field infront of PC Baptist for our family games and bounce house. Parking will be located in the back of the church and on the side roads (NE Park View & Ashford Street). If the weather (and ground) is dry, the South field behind the parking lot will be used for overflow parking.
This change will slightly alter our 5k route but the "meat" of the run will still be on the main roads of Park City including 61st Street & Hydraulic and we will still have an out & back run into Hap McLean Park and back to the (new) starting line.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 5K+SHIRT HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND! ALL PARTICIPANTS WANTING A COLOR RUN SHIRT THE DAY OF THE EVENT SHOULD REGISTER BY MONDAY AT THE LATEST.
The Chisholm Trail Community Color Run is back for our 6th event!!
The event includes a 5k Color Splash run/walk down the main roads of Park City and a free kids 100 meter fun, as well as an end of race color toss celebration, community lunch** , inflatables and yard-games and more, all in support of Chisholm Trail’s PE department and fine-arts program(s)!
The 5k Color Run/Walk follows Park City's main roads from Chisholm Trail Elementary to Hap-Mclean Park and back for an easy out and back route. Along the way participants can stop at water tables sponsored by Park City Pride and be doused in water-colors by the Heights Cheer Squad! After the race participants will regroup at the start & finish line for a post-race Color Toss Celebration!
While this is a great route for a fun family stroll, participants that are in-to-win-it can vie for one of our Color Run medals awarded to the top 3 male & female finishers in the Elementary/ Secondary & Adult age categories!
Our event is open to Chisholm Trail students, staff, and families, as well as the Park City and USD 259 Communities and has been hailed as a great event to bring the community and school together! With volunteers from the Park City Police Department, Park City Pride, Sedgwick Co. Fire, the Heights Cheer squad and more, we have been able to host five well-organized and extremely successful events that simulate the large scale road-races hosted around Wichita.
Participants of the Community Color Run have enjoyed the event so much that it has become one of the most asked about events hosted by the school! Our participants have given high praise to our event, including the following reviews:
