Step Out Against Domestic Violence Walk/Run 5K

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Step Out Against Domestic Violence 5K Walk/Run is a powerful way to make a difference. Join us on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 2pm for a meaningful event dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and raising awareness about this critical issue. Whether you’re an avid runner or a casual walker, this event is a chance to come together with friends, family, and our community to stand up against domestic abuse.

Event Highlights:

Presenting Partners: Swope Family of Dealerships, 94.3 The Wolf, Central Kentucky Race Management, Quicksie 98.3

Registration: $30 and includes a race day t-shirt (if registered by September 20, 2024) Shirts or shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after this date. A limited number of extra shirts will be ordered and will be given out during the online registration until all sizes are claimed.

Awards: All runners will receive a medal after completing the 5K

Packet Pickup:  Packet pickup and same day race registrations will begin at 1pm on race day.

Team Discount: Form a team and sign up six or more members to receive a $5 discount per person. Family, friends, and even four-legged companions are all welcome!

Chip-Timed 5K: Central Kentucky Race Management will be chip-timing the event and results will be available vie text, and video board at the finish and here on the registration page throughout the event.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Springhaven Domestic Violence Shelter. Your participation not only helps raise awareness but also supports critical services for survivors. With every step, you’ll be part of a community effort to promote healthy relationships and end domestic abuse.
