We are proud to be able to put the 8th Annual Freedom Fest Triathlon & Duathlon in New Roads, Louisiana on the beautiful False River.

400 meter swim

10 mile bike

2 mile run

Duathlon

2 mile run

10 mile bike

2 mile run

6:00 AM   Transition & Packet Picku Up Open

6:45 AM   Water Support on the Water.  Warm up allowed

7:15 AM   Transition & Warm Up Swim Closes

7:20 AM   Race Announcements

7:30 AM   Race Starts, Duathletes start at the FINISH LINE;

                Swimmers line up in parking lot by Swim Start by the water

8:40 AM   Anticipated First Finishers

8:45 AM   Post Race Food & Beverages

9:45 AM   Anticipated time for awards to start

10:15 AM Anticipated Final Finishers

10:30 AM Event Closes
 

THE COURSE WILL INCLUDE THE SWIM IN FALSE RIVER, BIKE AROUND THE BEAUTIFUL LAKE AND RUN THRU DOWNTOWN NEW ROADS.

**course is subject to change pending City of New Roads final decision.

Awards

Sprint and Super Sprint:

Overall Male and Female 

3 deep in each age group category

Duathlete:

Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female

Relay Teams:

1st Place in each category
