Powisset Farm Trail Run - Fall

Runners in the 8.3, 5.6 or 3.1 mile races that register by Friday, 10/11/24 are guaranteed a soft cotton, gender specific t-shirt (2023 shirt design shown). Runners that register after that date will receive a Barn to Run drawstring bag. Runners that receive other swag will have the option to exchange their swag for any unclaimed t-shirt (or purchase one for $15) after the race starting at 10:00am.

Runners in the 1.5 mile race will receive a Barn to Run drawstring bag.

All runners also receive post-race food & drink and a chance to win sponsor giveaways.

The 2024 Barn to Run Trail Race Series schedule consists of three events:

• Powisset Farm Trail Run, Dover, MA - Monday, 5/27/24 (Memorial Day)
• Weir River Farm Trail Run, Hingham, MA - Sunday, 10/13/24
• Powisset Farm Trail Run, Dover, MA - Sunday, 10/20/24

Awards will be given to 3 fastest men and women in each race. Past awards include rustic, hand-crafted awards to hang on your wall and produce from the farm.

There will be 1 aid station set up in Noanet Woods offering water and energy gels. THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE... you must have your own hydration carrier. A limited number of speedcup and hydration belts will be available for sale at the event for those that need a hydration carrier on a race day.

Runners in the 8.3 mile race will pass the aid station 3 times... just before mile 2, again near mile 5 and finally near mile 7.8. Runners in the 5.6 mile race will pass the aid station twice... just before mile 2 and near mile 5.  Runners in the 3.1 mile race will pass the aid station near mile 2.5.

Sunday, 10/20/24: RACE DAY! (at Powisset Farm, 37 Powisset St, Dover, MA)

• 7:00am: Packet pick-up/registration begins at Powisset Farm
• 8:00am: Start of the 1.5 mile race
• 8:30am (est): Start of the 5.6 and 8.3 mile races (this race is started once all runners in the 1.5 mile race are finished)
• 9:00am (est): Start of the 3.1 mile race (this race is started once all runners in the 5.6 and 8.3 mile races leave the Meadow Loop and cross into Noanet Woodlands)
• 10:00am (est): Awards ceremony for the 3.1 mile race
• 10:30am (est): Awards ceremony for the 5.6 & 8.3 mile races

Each Barn to Run race includes attractions and activities to keep the kids entertained while mom or dad is participating in the event (children must still be accompanied by an adult at all times). Powisset Farm has a barn yard with pigs, chickens and goat, a small play area and kids under 15 will be given a free pumpkin to paint (first 25 kids).

All registrants will receive a unique URL in their registration confirmation email. Share that URL with friends and family and if 3 people register using that URL you will receive a $15 refund to the credit card you used when you signed up.
