Description
This is the 1st Moms and Me 3K Shoe drive Walkathon, spreading awareness of the needs in impoverished communities as we raise funds to provide shoes and other basic essentials to rural areas of Nigeria, primarily in the villages of Ibadan, Owerri and Umuahia; while promoting an active lifestyle in our local community. A portion of the proceeds will also help support our efforts at our local foodbanks and homeless shelters in Baltimore, Maryland.
This event promises to be fun! Runners and walkers are welcome. There are no age restrictions, so bring your entire family. Top finishers will be recognized.
