Welcome to the registration page for the 2020 MCRRC Virtual Race Series!
As our traditional races are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to offer this virtual race series, of varying terrain, as an opportunity for our members to race and compete against other members as well as to provide the ability to measure progress during virtual training and maintain camaraderie with other members!
UPDATE: We listened to our runners and understand that some of you may not feel safe running one or more of these courses without the traditional race support. All races in this virtual series are now designated as Run Anywhere. Participants may run the designated course or choose any route (of the specified distance) with which they feel comfortable.
*** Registration for the virtual series is FREE. MCRRC Membership is required.
How it Works
Register for all or as many events as you would like! All races are free, but you must be an MCRRC member to participate. All selected events must be completed between now & October 31, 2020. Registration will remain open throughout the *season* -- events can always be added at a later time!
Results must be uploaded as you finish. Only races with finish times uploaded will count as *completed.* This virtual series is meant to be fun and therefore will be conducted on the honor system, so please be honest!
Participation Prizes
All members who complete 5 of the 10 virtual races (with results uploaded) will receive a pair of MCRRC logo socks. Members who complete all 10 of the virtual races will receive a pair of MCRRC socks as well as a choice of MCRRC logo shirt, tank or hat!
During registration, you will be asked to select your sock size as well as your top two choices in MCRRC merchandise, in the event that you complete one of the challenges above. Please note that prizes will only be mailed upon completion of either 5 or 10 events, with valid results posted.

** Due to the closures affecting the trail connector in the Paint Branch Stream Valley Park, members may opt for a "Run Anywhere 8K."
