Sub 5 Veterans Benefit Virtual 5K

The Sub 5 Track Club created this fall virtual race to continue to urge runners to keep moving and also benefit the Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor. Our goal is to keep it simple and affordable in hopes of generating interest to support this cause. Run your 5K over any course between November 4 and 18, and submit your results to see where you finished. The cost of the race is just $12 plus registration fees and proceeds will benefit the Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor. There are no prizes for winners which will help us keep costs down and give more funds to the Veterans' Home.

The first 100 registrants will receive a Maine Veterans' Home Challenge coin which we think is cooler than a t-shirt anyway.

Please note this race is not part of the Tradewinds Sub 5 Race Series. Unfortunately, there haven't been enough races to tabulate any series scores, but hopefully, races will begin again at some point.
