Description
The 2019 Great Bacon Run will be bigger and better than ever! Events include a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run, Kids Fun Run, 1 Mile Run, Double Bacon (5k/10k) Run and the 1st ever "Whole Hog (5k/10k/1 Mile) Bacon Run". This year's route is certified through the USATF. Male & female age-group awards (3-deep, 14 and under to 75+) will be given in the 5K. Top 3 overall male and female will be given in the 10K. Overall male & female winners will be recognized in the Kids Run and 1 Mile events. ALL PARTICIPANTS will receive a short-sleeve shirt, and finisher medal at the completion of their event. In-person registration is accepted at the Garden City Parks & Recreation office, located upstairs at the Garden City Ice Arena at 200 Log Cabin Road, Garden City, MI 48135 (Office Hrs: M-F from 9:00am-6:00pm). Runners/Walkers will be treated to a variety of FREE bacon samples at the conclusion of the race. All details and pertinent race day information are available online www.greatbaconrun.org.
