SHE TRAINS GR is the official training program of SHE RUNS Grand Rapids Half Marathon
SHE TRAINS GR, is an all-women's program designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for any She interested in engaging with a coached, supported group training for the SHE RUNS Grand Rapids Half Marathon. The program is designed with her needs in mind - physiological, emotional, and communal.
Program Schedule
She Trains GR will meet weekly on Saturdays at rotating locations in Grand Rapids at 8 am from June 22nd through
September 28th.
Training officially begins Saturday, June 22. Not sure if you're ready to commit to a training program? Join us for an info night on Thursday, June 6 at Gazelle Sports Grand Rapids 28th Street.
Join us also for a complimentary Preview Run on Saturday, June 8 at 8:00am at John Ball Park!

Sammie’s coaching philosophy is anchored in providing a meaningful experience for her athletes while educating them with unique and sustainable training strategies for an individual experience. Because we need to plan ahead in order to offer a great participant experience while raising money for charity we are not able to issue any refunds for registration of this event. If the event is cancelled due to weather, or at the recommendation of local officials, refunds will not be issued.
