Holley Jolly 5k Run/Walk

The Holley Institute is proud to host the Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk!

Get ready to lace up and celebrate the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community at the Holley Jolly 5K Run/Walk! Join us for a day of fun, movement, and making a difference at Lake St. Clair Metropark. 

This event welcomes runners, walkers, kids, and families of all ages and abilities to enjoy a memorable day together.

A free 1-mile Fun Run for kids (ages 12 and under) will follow the 5K. Parents and guardians are welcome to do the walk for free with the kids. (Participants ages 13 and older should register as adults.)

Event Highlights:

• Professionally timed race for an exciting, polished experience
• Medals awarded to the top overall male and female finishers
• Custom event T-shirt and running bib for paid runners/walkers
• $100 cash prize for the 1st place male and female winners (based on official gun time)
• Free Starbucks coffee and pastries before the race
• Free face painting and family-friendly activities
• Colorful interactive inflatable sculptures
• Refreshment zone after the race

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided.

Families and guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy the park amenities, including a sandy beach, splash pad, playgrounds, nature trails, fishing areas, a nature center, and paved walking and biking paths.

8:00–8:55 AM – Packet Pickup
9:00–9:55 AM – 5K Run/Walk
10:00–10:55 AM – Kids 1-Mile Fun Run (FREE)
11:00–11:15 AM – Awards Ceremony
11:15 AM–12:00 PM – Mingle

Family Activities will be held throughout the event duration
