Fall Salmon Run 5K

About This Event:

All proceeds from this event go to the Friends of Wolf Lake, a non-profit organization that promotes and sponsors interpretive activities and educational opportunities for the Van Buren and Kalamazoo county community surrounding the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery and Visitor Center.
With the assistance of members and volunteers, Friends of Wolf Lake hosts special events open to the public, as well as member only events, all designed to heighten public awareness and appreciation of Michigan’s natural resources.
In additional to hosting events, the Friends of Wolf Lake provide funding and support for interpretive programming, outdoor exploration, exhibits and displays.
The Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center welcomes over 25,000 visitors annually, providing more than 300 interpretive programs, the majority of which are free to the public. This could not be done without your support.

Event Schedule:  

• Race Day Packet Pickup - 8:00 am
• 5K Run/Walk Race Time - 9:00 am
• 1 Mile Fun Run - 10:30 am

Pre-Registration

• 5K Run Walk   $23.00   Oct 3rd to Oct 15th (5:00 pm)
• 1 MIle Fun Run   $2.00   Oct 3rd to Oct 15th (5:00 pm)

Day of Registration

Tee Shirts: 

To be guaranteed a Tee Shirt - registration must be made by Oct 2nd.  Tee Shirts will be given on "Race Day" on a first come first serve basis.

Awards & Age Categories:

Awards will include overall M/F winners. Age groups will be 3 deep as follows: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ Awards will be posted during the race and will be awarded immediately following.
