Join participants from all over the United States and Canada as we virtually cover 2020 miles to touch all five Great Lakes! Running, walking, rolling, biking, swimming, paddling - it doesn't matter how you do it- the miles you log from June 28 - August 9 will help achieve the mileage goal!
We want your miles! You can register for the challenge anytime before August 9!
Participants choosing a swag option will receive:
How do I record my miles?
Record your miles and how you achieved them by a) Clicking on "Results" from the menu on the main event webpage or b) click on "manage my registration" from your confirmation email or from your RunSignUp account. No matter which way you go, the next thing to do is to search for your account using your name or email address you registered with. Once you are in your account, click on "Submit Virtual Results". From there you can indicate your mileage and how you achieved them!! You can do it daily, or you can do it once a week, whatever works for you!
Can I do multiple activities or one activity multiple times a day?
Yes, whenever you get your miles in counts! Do add another entry, go to the "Results page", choose "Add Another Activity." DO NOT JUST OVERWRITE THE PREVIOUS ACTIVITY OR IT WILL BE ERASED AND NOT COUNT. Each time you do a new activity/mileage, you need to click "Add Another Activity." At the end of the challenge, you will see all the activities you did!
Is it true I can record miles from when I run, walk, bike, swim, and go out on my kayak?
Yes! And we want everyone to participate so participants with physical disabilities can record miles they’ve covered using handcycles, wheelchairs, and assistive mobility devices. Any way you get your miles in, you can log them!
I'm in another event during the same period as the challenge. Can I count those miles, too?
When will my shirt and sunglasses be shipped?
Shirts and Goodr sunglasses will be shipped out weekly beginning on 7/13.
Can I select the color of my sunglasses?
Unfortunately, sunglass availability is limited to Goodr inventory. Color (black or white) can not be guaranteed but may be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long do I have to complete the challenge?
Individuals and teams have until 11:59pm EST on Sunday, August 9 to log miles.
