2021 SCSU Homecoming 5k

Come out and show your husky spirit while staying active with alumni, family, friends, and community. The SCSU Homecoming 5k is one of the most anticipated events during Homecoming week. The 5k run/walk will take you through the SCSU Campus and down through the beautiful beaver trail. At our race, we will have a quality presentation with Wyzata Timing Service to help this 5k memorable. The timing service will be providing full automatic timing, mile splits throughout the run/walk, and instant 5k times emailed directly to you after the race. Running photographs will be taken at the finish line. 

This year, the registration fee will be 25.00. This fee includes a t-shirt if you register before September 24th. Anyone that registers after September 24th will not receive a T-shirt 

There will be a pre-race packet pick up from 4:00-7:00pm at the Endurance Shop. You will be able to come to the running store to pick up all of your materials you'll need for the race during those times. If you register before September 24th, you will qualify to receive a SCSU Homecoming shirt. Packet pick up/check in will happen starting at 8:30am on Saturday October 16th (day of race). 

The starting line will be outside of Lawrence Hall. The finish line will be located in the Husky Stadium. Check-In will be located in front of Lawrence Hall at 8:30am. There will be volunteers stationed throughout the course to make sure runners are running in the correct direction. There will be volunteers directing participants where to park as well. Designated parking lot will be communicated well for the day of the race. 

After the race, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for all age categories. There will be 1st overall male and female participants award as well. Age categories will be 12 and under, 13-17, 18-22, 23-27, 28-32, 33-37, 38-42, 43-47, 48-52, 53-57, 58-62, 63 and up
