Description
GFHS will host the 3rd Annual ‘Back to School 5k Splash Dash ’.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
6500 S New Hope Rd
Belmont, NC
All proceeds will go to purchasing supplies for the 1,200 book bags that are packed for the 10th Annual ‘Back to School Bash’ at Woodhill Elementary in Gastonia, NC.
Children attending the ‘Back to School Bash’ will receive free kindergarten and sports physical, complete preventative health screens, and receive appointments for free, vital vaccinations. Once all essential screenings are completed, the children receive a book bag filled with school supplies to begin the 2020-2021 school year successfully.
Course description: Trail run through Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden's Persimmon Trail and the Carolina Thread Trail's Seven Oak Foundation's Trail
T shirt deadline is July 1st, then on a 1st come 1st serve basis.
Kids that participate will get a t-shirt (if registered by t-shirt deadline) AND a clown fish bag packed with outdoor play toys for some Summer Fun
