Castle Hayne Elementary School PTA Fun Run

Our Fun Run event will be a 30-lap race to raise funds that will benefit our school this year. We look forward to your support as this is the biggest fundraiser of the school year! Our theme is "Earning for Learning," where students will have a blast for a great cause! Each student will have the opportunity to participate in the Fun Run.

We are excited to announce that this event will take place outside this year, weather permitting! If it rains, no worries, it will be held in the Media Center room. This run is a fantastic way to motivate children to get fit, while having fun.

We will indulge ourselves with good music, good sportsmanship, and lots of fun! So, bring the family out to come cheer on your child! Guests will be asked to come out to support by student's grade level. Look for more details coming home in your child's folder and on our CHES Facebook PTA Event page!

Got Sneakers? Did you know that you could help us raise additional money just by donating your old, pre-loved sneakers? Yup, that's right! All you have to do is bring in or drop off your family's old sneakers. We will have a drop box at the school during the Fun Run where you can drop old sneakers in our "Got Sneakers" upcycle box. What is most valuable about this 'Sneaker Fundraiser Drive', it keeps sneakers out of landfills and reduces toxic chemicals from being released in our air and soil. All reusable sneakers are refurbished and sold at second-hand markets at affordable prices. All heavily used and damaged footwear is recycled to reuse materials or to convert waste into new energy.
