ALL THE FUN WITHOUT THE RUN
This charity event presented by Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a social experiment for nonrunners designed to bring community members together to support local business. It was developed to provide the feel of a local 5k without having to run a step. You still get the start/finish, the bib, the t-shirt and especially to post race party. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is presenting the LKN Zero K as an opportunity for the community to come together to support each other after a long pandemic shutdown. With the focus on introducing chamber members to a growing population. The Zero K will be hosted at the new Lost Worlds Brewery in Cornelius, North Carolina. You will have the opportunity to connect with other area professionals and learn about the Lake Norman business infrastructur.
New this year, "Flight Registration". Just like a flight of beer, getting five different beers to sample, the flight registration will allow you to gather five of your employee, coworker and friends and register at once. Flight registration is 5 spots for the price of 4. So get your flight together and make that 5th person buy the second round of beers since the first round is on us. To find the flight registration, scroll to the bottom of the sing-up page and select "flight registration" option under the multi-person drop down list. Enter all 5 people and we will see you on the 24th.
While the Chamber is focused on providing an opportunity to present many of its members to the community, they are also raising money for the Lake Norman Chamber Foundation. The Foundation host opportunities to educated community business leaders with various programs. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Norman Chamber Foundation, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and will enhance our small business development programs, diversity, inclusion and 2021 Women’s Conference

PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up will be held at Lost World's Brewery. A tent will be located in the parking lot in front of Lost World's Brewery. Packet pickup will begin at 3:00 pm and will stay open until 7:00 pm. Participants can check in anytime between 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Registration will also be available at packet pickup.
PARKING
Parking is located in front of Lost World Brewing. The parking lot behind lost work will be closed to vehicular traffic. Over flow parking will be in the CATs Cornelius Park & Ride Stop located behind Lost World's Brewery on Shefton Park Rd.

CHARITY
Net proceeds from this event will benefit the Lake Norman Chamber Foundation and Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. Specifically, the Foundation will utilize the proceeds for the 2021 Women’s Conference and Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity programs. The Chamber will utilize the proceeds for Chamber Small Business programming. The Foundation is a 501 c 3 nonprofit. All registration fees and donations are tax deductible (Federal ID: 26-4296111)
The purpose of the Foundation: The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Foundation is dedicated to the community development and wellbeing of the Lake Norman region while enhancing the quality of life of people in that region. The Foundation shall promote and advance the civic, cultural, economic, charitable, and educational interests of the greater Lake Norman region while encouraging diversity, inclusiveness, and leadership development for our citizens.

Non Chamber Members:
If they are not a member but are a Gold Sponsor ($750), we will throw in the $295 membership for a total of $900 – a savings of $145.
If they are a Silver Sponsor and not a member, we throw in the membership for a total of $500 saving them $145.
COVID-19 Safety Procedures
All COVID-19 protocol will follow the bar and restraunt guidelines and will be enforced by Lost World Brewing. They will be updated based on the Govenor's current COVID-19 reopening plan. Please be patient as the rules are changing daily. Thank you for your patience as we update the complience.
Compliance
This event will use the Governor's Executive Order No. 209 for all rules and regulations for hosting this event. We have read the order and all restrictions and regulations written in the order will be complied with and will be explained in this section.
Limited Attendance
All attendance limitations will be in complience with the current capacity limitation of Lost World Brewing indoor and outdoor space.
Face Coverings
While face covering is not required they are still recommended in large mass gathering settings and while on close proximity (less than 6 feet) of other individuals of whom are not direct family members. Please use your best judgement and individual concern regarding wearing a face covering.
Social Distancing
To lessen the opportunity for the spread of COVID-19 we ask that all participants comply with the six (6) feet social distancing recommendations. Social distancing markers will be placed at all locations where lines may form. You will notice each business will also have appropriate social distancing restrictions in place inside their individual establishments. Each business may follow slightly different social distancing requirements established in the current Governor's order for different types of businesses.
Cleaning Procedure
In accordance with the current executive order we will provide each participant with personal hand sanitizer. We will place hand washing/sanitizing stations throughout the event venue. We will disinfect the start gathering area between each group’s arrival time. Each participating business will also follow all appropriate cleaning procedures listed for their type of business in accordance with the state of North Carolina's established rules and regulations.
